Hi everyone! My name is Jackson Quinones and I am from the great Knoxville, Tennessee. This year I will be a senior studying Kinesiology with hopefully going into the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the University of Tennessee. Ever since I was a kid I have been in love with dogs. Dogs have always just been the most ideal dog for me. They are cute, funny, and are always there for you when you have had a rough day. You may be asking how I get into this group called Fur Force? Well growing up I had a friend who fostered kittens and always said he had to take care of them every weekend. Then one weekend I decided I will come with him to help take care of the kittens. Ever since then it has changed my life. The feeling of growing up with an animal and taking care of them as if they were your own child made it one of the best experiences of my life. This led me down a rabbit hole of getting animals. Today I now have 3 weiner dogs, a sheepadoodle, and a cat. Packed house am I right? I can say I have a favorite dog and it was my very first weiner dog. His name used to be Titan but we call him Phat now. You can maybe guess why but we love him for that exact reason. Phat and I have been best friends ever since we first met each other. Every day when I get home I get the biggest rush of happiness going through my body because when I get to the door Phat rushes up to scratch up my leg to make me pick him up EVERYDAY. I can say it sometimes comes in handy when I have had a bad day because it cheers me up so much to the point I forget why I even had a bad day in the first place. Then every day when I go to bed phat always has to come up and sleep with me or he will get separation anxiety through the night from not being with me. Trust me, having a dog yelp for you through the night is one of the saddest things I have ever heard. That is why he always comes up to sleep with me which makes my night and morning better getting to sleep with my best friend. All of this though is the reason I wanted to join this group Fur Force. To help AC-ARF raise money and awareness for their mission. So I keep thinking to myself, if you are an animal lover as well, why not look into our blog and help spread the mission AC-ARF is trying to do. It would be amazing! Anyways, this is the end of my blog but I wanted to leave everyone with these words. If you have any type of animal, cherish all the memories you make with them. Those are the memories that you are going to remember for the rest of your life.
